Making this book was the most extraordinary thing I've ever experienced — as an individual and as a creator. From its images to the poetry and the story it tells, was for me, the definition of revelation in every step. Just like the real story behind it.

There was never any intention for this book to be created. And yet, within a few movements, there began to unfold before me, something I had never imagined.

The real story behind the book... and its illustrations...

Some years ago, an event marked my life. After the first shock had passed, the images of a whole life as I knew it, began to dissolve... They started to disappear from my mind, my feelings, my body even. But before they were completely gone, they gave birth to a miracle. What was so painfully leaving from inside my hands, was giving its place to something else; something strange and still, back then, unknown to me.

An image was leaving... giving its place… to Life.

La création

La création de ce livre est la chose la plus extraordinaire que j'ai jamais vécue — en tant qu'individu comme en tant que créateur. Dès ses images, à la poésie et à l'histoire qu'il raconte, a été pour moi la définition de révélation, à chaque étape. Tout comme l'histoire vraie qui se cache derrière.

il n'a jamais été dans mon intention de créer ce livre.  Et pourtant, dans quelques mouvements, j'ai eu dans mes mains quelque chose que je n'avais jamais imaginé.

L’histoire vraie derrière le livre... et ses illustrations...

Il y a quelques ans, un événement a marqué ma vie. Quand le premier choc a passé, les images d'une vie entière, telle que je la connaissais, ont commencé à se dissoudre... Elles ont commencé à disparaître de mon esprit, de mes sentiments, de mon corps même. Mais avant qu'ils aient été complètement partis, ils ont donné naissance à un miracle. Ce qui, si douloureusement se perdait, donnait en partant, sa place à quelque chose d'autre ; quelque chose d'étrange et encore à l'époque, inconnu pour moi.

Une image partait... donnant sa place... à la Vie.
